This is a beautiful vintage 60’s cotton sateen fabric with a beautiful soft smooth feel. I have made it up in my pinafore dress pattern, and it can be worn with a short or long sleeve t-shirt, navy, green or white or a jumper in this winter weather ready for Christmas, a visit to granny or a party,

As you can see from the ‘painterly’ pattern of the fabric, it is printed in a deep dark emerald gree, and a shading of what looks like brushstrokes of dark blue to a gentle blue, and occasionally there is a small spot of orange colour. And that is why it was obvious to line it with a plain orange cotton, trim with orange bobbles, and finish off with an orange ribbon bow on the front. With my love of fabrics, this one is almost delicious in feel for me, and I feel sure it will look stunning on a little girl.
