This lovely vintage 1950’s cotton pique fabric caught my eye with its bright and good fun print of red, and orange daisy-like flowers strewn across it. Cotton pique was used a lot when I was young, having a very slight texture thus adding to the vivid effect of the printing. I have made three dresses from it, all completely different as usual. This one for a 2-year old has a green and red spot cotton lining, green bound armholes, neck, and hem, plus a red embroidered daisy trim above the binding on the hem. Fastening is with snap fasteners at the straps for easy dressing and undressing.

With a red or white short or long sleeved T-shirt, and leggings in coole winter, it can be worn throughout the year, for parties, other specia occasions and Christmas.
