This is the second dress I have made from this lovely piece of vintage printed cotton. Again like the first one, made up in my balloon hem pattern, ready for a special occasion, Christmas or a party.

To ensure the bounce I have stabiliesed the fabric with a plain white cotton, it is also lined with a delicate pink and white striped cotton, and the two patch pockets also created from vintage fabrics, as well as the fastening at the back with a ribbon loop - easy to fasten - and vintage button. Pink and white check binding around the neck and armholes helps to add to the picture of delicacy of this dress, a special dress for a little girl who wants to feel pretty.
