This piece of applique was too large for a toddler dress etc, so using a piece of gorgeous leftover vibrant orange corduroy from The Cloth Shop I have made a little cushion for a young boy or girl. Edged with red bobbles and closed with a red zip, the cute little driver inside the ‘Carrot Car’ makes a pocket on the front where ‘little treasures’ can be kept safely.  Lined with a smart red and white stripe cotton, and a Hollowfiber inner, this would make a lovely ‘cuddle’ Christmas present.
